When the church withholds itself from the groom and there are no intimate moments, there can’t be a pregnancy.
Why aren't there hungry souls coming to church? When’s the last time you were intimate with Jesus? You need some time in your prayer closet. Just because you prayed yesterday, doesn’t mean you should be expecting a new baby in the church today. It takes time. You need regular one-on-one time with him. When you stop withholding yourself from him, the church WILL become pregnant with new babies. Who has ever heard of someone conceiving on the first try? It can take months to years. You need to be intimate with Jesus regularly if you want to conceive in the spiritual realm.
Why is the church not overflowing with God's blessings? I show up to church every Sunday and midweek service. I pay my tithes. Where are my blessings? When was the last time you gave something to Jesus? You may return your tithes to him, but do you give in the offering? Sometimes it requires sacrifice. Every time I have sacrificed, may it be time, money, or just doing something I didn't want to do, God has always blessed my efforts. You can't outgive God.
It takes time. Don’t stop giving your time to God. Sometimes there are barren seasons. Sara was 90 when she had Issac. David was anointed to be king when he was still a boy. He had to wait around 15 years before he became king. Ruth was married, then her husband died. Ruth had to go with Naomi back to her homeland for Ruth to get married and then finally have a child. Joseph was promised to be exalted above his brothers and even his father, but it took over 13 years for his dreams to come true. Hannah was barren for around 19 years. She wasn't expecting till she got serious and spent time at the tabernacle. Jesus will always open the womb and fulfill his promises if we are patient.
But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 KJV) When you start being intimate with God, the blessings can’t help but follow. You are the bride of JESUS! He WILL take care of HIS bride. He won’t leave you to starve. He won’t leave you homeless. Just like a physical husband wants to give his bride the best of everything. Jesus wants to give his spiritual bride everything he can. The physical marriage was based on the spiritual union that we are to have with God.
When we get hold of this, the babies WILL start coming. Along with the souls, God's blessings will come! Stop withholding yourself from God. Find a time and place every day to set aside and be intimate with God. Before you know it, the blessings of God will be overflowing in your life. The babies will start to be born in your church.
